Tyresta National Park (Swedish: Tyresta nationalpark) is a national park with a surrounding nature reserve in Sweden, located in Haninge and Tyresö municipalities in Stockholm County.
The national park has an area of 19.7 km² (7.61 mi²), and the surrounding nature reserve 27 km² (10 mi²), so the total protected area is about 47 km² (18 mi²).
In August 1999, about 10% of the national park area was consumed in a large fire. The cause of the fire remains unknown; conditions in the area were at the time quite optimal for a forest fire to start.[2]
