Tyrant is a comic book series published by Spiderbaby Grafix about a Tyrannosaurus rex, written by Steve Bissette.[1]
Publication history
There were four issues published in the mid 90s. Although cancelled, Bissette still hopes to eventually publish a collection of all published and unpublished Tyrant material.[citation needed]
A new Tyrant page appeared in Sundays[2] and has discussed a proposal he was preparing that would involve reviving Tyrant.[3] Bissette did announce a Tyrant film adaptation in 2010[4] but only as an April Fools' Day, although it did get a strong and positive response.[5]
Awards
- 1995: Nominated for "Best New Series" Eisner Award.[6]
