Two-player game

This article is about two player games in general. For a video game mode, see Two-player video game.
A two-player game is a game played by just two players. This is distinct from a solitaire game which is played by only one player, or a multiplayer game played by more than two players.[1] Two unofficial but logical ways of grouping and categorizing games could be by Type and by what a game is Based In (i.e. what might make a person good at or enjoy a particular game).
Examples of two-player games include
- Cue sports, a family of games that use cue sticks and billiard balls
- Chess, a classic board game
- Cribbage, a card game
- Magic: The Gathering, a collectible card game in which players duel
- Wargames, such as Hammer of the Scots
- Some Video games, such as Command HQ
