Twelve Mile Road is a 2003 drama film based on the book Mystery Ride by Robert Boswell. It was directed and written for teleplay by Richard Friedenberg. The story is set in Idaho, but is filmed in Calgary, Canada

Plot

Divorced farmer Stephen Landis (Tom Selleck) lives a normal life with his girlfriend Leah (Anna Gunn) and her daughter, Roxanne (Tegan Moss) until his daughter Dulcie (Maggie Grace) comes for a summer visit after having a fight with her mother (Wendy Crewson). During the summer Dulcie starts to heal her problems with her parents and they get together again.
