Turbo saxosus, common name the stony turban, is a species of sea snail, marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinidae.[1]
- Taxonomic status: Some authors place the name in the subgenus Turbo (Callopoma) .
Description
The length of the shell varies between 20 mm and 54 mm.
Distribution
This species occurs in the Pacific Ocean from Panama to Peru.
