Tulsi Tanti is the chairman and managing director of Suzlon Energy, a USD 100 million market cap wind power based company.

Early life

Mr.Tanti was born on 2nd February, 1958 in Rajkot in Gujarat, Western India to a farming family as well as involved in business.[citation needed] He has four siblings, three of whom work in functional capacities at Suzlon and its allied companies.[citation needed]

Career

Mr. Tanti set up a textile company in Gujarat, commissioning two wind turbines to supply electricity for his textile unit.[citation needed] Tanti established Suzlon Energy limited in 1995, now the fifth largest wind turbine manufacturer in the world.[citation needed] The Suzlon Group global corporation with over 13,000 employees, providing wind power solutions across 32 countries on six continents.[citation needed]
