Tulsi Kumar is an Indian playback singer Bollywood films.[1]

Early life

Tulsi Kumar, daughter of the T-Series (Super Cassettes Industries Ltd) music label's founder & film producer Gulshan Kumar and Sudesh Kumaria nd she is also the sister of the same company's current producer Bhushan Kumar, was introduced into the domain of films by the renowned Himesh Reshammiya. Tulsi Kumar started off her career by singing various sings for numerous movies such as Aksar, Chup Chup Ke, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye and Aksar. In the year 2009, she released her very first album, ‘Love Ho Jaaye’ which was fairly successful in the market.Tulsi even starred for the music video of the album’s title track. Some of her hit songs include: ‘Tum Jo Aaye’ from the movie ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ which she sang along with RahatFateh Ali Khan; another hit song of hers was the song ‘Mujhe Teri’ from the film ‘Paathshaala’.

Music career

Kumar's singing career started by her backing tracks in numerous Bollywood movies like Chup Chup Ke, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, and Aksar. In 2009, her debut album, ''Love ho Jaaye'', was released. Along with the album, Kumar also made a music video for the title track. Her song "Mujhe Teri" from the movie Paathshaala and "Tum Jo Aaye" from" Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was also a hit. she has worked with Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam and Sajid-Wajid.
