Trutnowo [trutˈnɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south of Bartoszyce and 45 km (28 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
