True Files is a film set in 1936 about an American woman whose husband is shot while he's in bed with a prostitute.
The film was also known as Shanghai Lilly. It was shot in Singapore and languished in legal limbo for a time after one of the financiers suffered a stroke. Eventually, Lamond managed to sell it to 10 territories, mostly in Asia.[1]
