Troy William Slaten (born February 21, 1975) is an American actor and practicing attorney.

Biography

Slaten was born in Los Angeles, California. He starred in a couple of television series in supporting roles during the 1980s and the 1990s. He was on the 1980s CBS series Cagney & Lacey as Michael Lacey, one of the on-screen children of Mary Beth Lacey (Tyne Daly) and Harvey Lacey Sr.(John Karlen), and later, he appeared in the series Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad as Amp. His most memorable role was on the Fox series Parker Lewis Can't Lose as Jerry Steiner.[1]

Slaten graduated from UCLA, earned a law degree from Pepperdine University's School of Law, and, as of 2005, had become an attorney practicing criminal law and litigation in Southern California.[2] An associate attorney with the Law Offices of Floyd, Skeren, & Kelly, LLP, Slaten was working in the firm's Calabasas headquarters location, again as of 2005, as the managing attorney of the firm's criminal defense practice.[3]
