Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales, Australia, had two unconnected trolleybus systems in the mid-twentieth century.

The first of these systems, opened in 1934, linked Sydney's city centre with the inner eastern suburb of Potts Point, and complemented nearby tram lines. It lasted only until 1948. The other system, in the southern suburbs, was the more extensive of the two systems. Opened in 1937, it replaced the Kogarah–Sans Souci steam tramway, and was in service until 1959.

Both systems were themselves replaced by motor bus routes.
