Triprion is a genus of frogs (the shovel-headed tree frogs) in the Hylidae family found in the Pacific lowlands of Mexico, the Yucatán Peninsula, and Guatemala. These frogs hide in tree-holes and plug the entrance with their strange-looking, bony heads.
