Triplemanía II-A was the first part of the second Triplemanía wrestling show promoted by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). 1994 was also the first year to feature the "Triplemanía Series" of shows with 3, referred to as II-A, II-B and II-C. where this was the first of the series. The show took place on April 26, 1994 in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico. The Main event featured a Best two out of three falls Lucha de Apuestas "Hair vs. Hair" match. Both Heavy Metal and Jerry Estrada put their hair on the line for this match.

Background

The event featured eight professional wrestling matches with different wrestlers involved in pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either villains (referred to as rudos in Mexico) or fan favorites (técnicos in Mexico) as they followed a series of tension-building events, which culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.

6 Los Payasos (Coc Rojo, Coco Verde and Coco Amarillo) defeated Los Hermanos Dinamita (Cien Caras, Máscara Año 2000 and Universo 2000) (C) Six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match for the Mexican National Trios Championship[1][2]  
7 El Hijo del Santo, Octagón and Perro Aguayo defeated Los Gringos Locos (Love Machine, Black Cat and Eddy Guerrero) by disqualification. Six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team match[1]  
8 Heavy Metal defeated Jerry Estrada Best two out of three falls Lucha de Apuesta "Hair vs. Hair". As a result Jerry Estrada had his hair shaved off.[1]
