Trigono (instrument)

The trigono (Greek: τρίγωνο), is a kind of a Greek auxiliary percussion instrument, with 3 angles. Trigono, means in ancient Greek language three angles (tris gonies - τρεις γωνιες). It is made from steel. Trigono in Greek tradition, is also used by the kids in Greece which are singing the carols. Similar names: kampanaki ("καμπανάκι"), simantron ("σήμαντρο"), skara ("σκάρα") or simantiri ( "σημαντήρι").
