Traian is a commune in Bacău County, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Bogdăneşti, Hertioana de Jos, Hertioana-Răzeşi, Traian and Zăpodia. It also included Prăjeşti village until 2005, when it was split off to form a separate commune.
