Trabzonspor is a professional basketball team based in the city of Trabzon in Turkey. It is branch of the multi-sports club of Trabzonspor. Their home arena is the Hayri Gür Arena with a capacity of 7,500 seats, which was opened in 2011.

History

Trabzonspor was founded in 1967 and opened its basketball section in 2008. After Alpella's relegation in 2008, Trabzonspor board has purchased all rights related to the team, from Ülker Group. The team currently bears the name of Trabzonspor.[1] Trabzonspor promoted to TBL as champions in 2009–10 season.
