The Townsville 400 is an annual motor racing event for V8 Supercars, held on the streets of Townsville, Queensland. The event is made up of two seventy-two lap races of the Townsville Street Circuit, toallying four hundred kilometres in length. It has been held since 2009, when it was known as the "Dunlop Townsville 400".[1] The event is currently known as the "Sucrogen Townsville 400" due to naming rights sponsorship from Sucrogen.[2]
