Tove Styrke is the debut album of the Swedish electropop singer Tove Styrke. The album was released in 12 November 2010 on Sony Music. It debuted at number 21 in Swedish charts and went up to 10th place in its second week.[1] Most tracks have been written by Tove Styrke, Patrik Berger, Peter Ågren and Janne Kask. On 10 October 2011, the album was re-released with the new single "Call My Name" and a 2011 remake of "High and Low". After promoting and releasing the single "Call My Name" across Europe, the album got reissued another time.

2011 Reissue

The 2011 Reissue of the album included both the new song Call My Name and a renewed version of "High and Low". This edition was released only in Sweden almost a year after its original release.

2012 Edition

After major success with the single "Call My Name" across Europe, the first album of Tove Styrke got another rerelease. Beside the 2011 version of "High and Low" this edition included a new arranged version of "Million Pieces" and the new song "Sticks and Stones. The iTunes bonustrack "Bad Time for a Good Time (feat. Gnucci Banana" was later made available for digital download worldwide and was released as single in different countries.

Singles

  • The second single, "White Light Moment", was released in 19 November 2011. It charted at number 5 on the Swedish top singles chart and has been certified gold.[7]
  • In February 2011, Tove Styrke issued the third single, "High and Low", she released an EP featuring six remixes of the track.
  • "Call My Name" was released as 4th single in Sweden (August 22, 2011) while the album got reissued. "Call My Name" served as first single release in Europe. It was released on February 3, 2012 in Germany.
  • "Bad Time for a Good Time (feat. Gnucci Banana)" was released as digital single on February 15, 2012 in Scandinavia, within the following months it was released worldwide.
