Toru Ito (伊藤 透 Itō Tōru)[2] (born on December 24, 1974 in Saku, Nagano), better known with the alias Toru Owashi (大鷲 透 Ōwashi Tōru), is a Japanese wrestler for Dramatic Dream Team and is in the faction Disaster-Box with Harashima. He has also been in El Dorado Wrestling as leader of the faction Animal planet. He is a former KO-D Openweight Champion and 2 time KO-D Tag Team Champion.
Career
Toru Owashi made his debut on September 2, 2000 in Mexico[3] where he wrestled as a member of the stable T2P a.k.a. Toryumon 2000 Project. He wrestled for Toryumon, Dragondoor, El Dorado Wrestling, and Dramatic Dream Team. In DDT he won the KO-D Openweight Championship by beating Danshoku Dieno. He defended the championship vs Poison Sawada Julie on June 25, 2006. He defended the title a second time vs KUDO on August 27, 2006. Owashi lost the KO-D Championship to HARASHIMA on December 29, 2006. In El Dorado he was the leader of the faction Animal Planets. Owashi won the UWA World Trios Championship with Takuya Sugawara and Nobutaka Araya on February 27, 2008 defeating Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei and Go of the HELL DEMONS faction.
