It is composed of three villages: Cadăr, Șipet and Tormac.

Ethnic groups
At the 2011 census, 60.1% of inhabitants were Romanians, 37.5% Hungarians and 1.6% other.
Religion
At the 2002 census, 51% were Romanian Orthodox, 37.6% Reformed, 6.6% Roman Catholic and 2.5% Pentecostal.
