Tony Marsico was born in 1957, in Philadelphia, PA. Marsico was a bassist for the Cruzados,[1][2] joining them in 1984 as the replacement for Barry McBride, when the band was still known as The Plugz and shortly before becoming the Cruzados. Marsico was the bassist until the band dissolved in 1988. Since then he went on to tour, record and play bass for Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Marianne Faithfull, Roger Daltrey, and Dr. John - among many others. In addition, Marsico was the bassist for indie pop sensation Matthew Sweet for over 10 years.
Marsico continues to record and play bass full-time and is currently working with his band The Martini Kings. He lives in Southern California with his family.
