Anthony "Tony" Barras (born 29 March 1971) is an English footballer who plays for New Mills as a defender.
Career
Born in Billingham, County Durham, Barras started his career with the Hartlepool United youth system, before signing a professional contract in July 1989.[1] He played for York City when they beat Manchester United 3–0 at Old Trafford in the League Cup in September 1995, scoring the third goal after a brace from Paul Barnes. He signed for New Mills in July 2010[2] and up until the end of the 2011-12 season had made a total of fifty four appearances (including substitute appearances) scoring once (from the archives of the New Mills AFC website http://www.newmillsafc.co.uk/table.htm)
