Thomas Wayne Gibis (Born August 22, 1964 in West St. Paul, Minnesota) is a voice actor, best known for playing the voice of Shikamaru Nara on Naruto. Gibis made a rare public appearance at the Anime Expo 2006, along with many other cast members from Naruto. He had broken his arm as he showed up wearing an arm sling due to a separated shoulder from a bicycle accident in June 2006. Four months later, he underwent shoulder reconstruction surgery.
