Tom Berryhill (born August 27, 1953[1]) is a Republican politician in the United States who currently represents the 14th district in the California State Senate. He is a former member of the California State Assembly, having represented the 25th district from December 2006 to December 2010.
Education
Berryhill attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Family
Berryhill's father, the late Clare Berryhill, was elected to both houses of the California Legislature, and also served the state as director of the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Tom's brother, Bill, was elected to the Assembly in the neighboring 26th district in 2008. The Berryhills are the first brothers to serve concurrently in the Legislature in almost 60 years. His first cousin, Mike Berryhill, was the 2010 Republican nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives from California's 18th district. Tom is married and has two daughters. They now live in Twain Harte.
