Today's Railways UK (TRUK) and Today's Railways Europe (TREU) are railway magazines aimed at the enthusiast and semi-professional market and concentrating on current and heritage events, in the UK, and in continental Europe respectively. They are published by Platform 5 Publishing Ltd of Sheffield.[1]

Today's Railways Europe

Today's Railways EUROPE magazine began publication in 1994 as Today's Railways.[2]

Today's Railways EUROPE (ISSN 1354-2753), covers the European railway scene, and normally published on the fourth Monday of each month.[citation needed] The magazine sometimes publishes articles on scenic lines.[3] Normally, the magazine consist of several sections: headlights (usually David Haydocks text about contemporary events on the railway scene, 1 page), headline news (up to 8 pages), light rail news (4 pages), mail train (2 pages), news round up (18 - 22 pages), heritage news (4 pages), railtours diary and book and dvd reviews. The magazine also have up to three feature articles. In the recent issues, TREU also covers Russian and ex-Soviet railway news. Occasionally, TREU also feature 'endangered species' articles about the locomotives and units classes which will be withdrawn soon.

Today's Railways UK

Today's Railways UK (ISSN 1750-6905), covers railways in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It has carried its current title from issue #49, January 2006, having originally (from January 2002) been published as entrain (ISSN 1475-9713).

The magazine is normally published on the second Monday of each month.
