Tod Swank

Tod Swank is an American ex-professional skateboarder, company owner (Tum Yeto distribution and Foundation skateboards), photographer, and publisher.

Early life

Swank's mid-1980s skateboard 'zine, Swank Zine, was among the original wave of underground xeroxed press.[1]

Skateboarding career

Swank was a professional skateboarder in the 1980s.

Photography

Concurrent with his professional skateboarding activity, Swank was also an accomplished skateboarding photographer, working as the first Senior Photographer at Transworld Skateboarding Magazine.[citation needed]

Entrepreneur

Swank is the owner of Tum Yeto, a skateboard distributor who created the motto "By Skateboarders, For Skateboarders". Tum Yeto is the distributor of Foundation, Toy Machine, Pig Wheels, Ruckus trucks, and Dekline footwear; and is the former distributor of Zero Skateboards, Land Speed, Hollywood Skateboards, and Death Box.[citation needed]

Music

Swank is also a musician, playing bass at various times in Crankshaft, Custom Floor, Loaded, and the LetDowns.[citation needed]
