Tockenham is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. Its nearest town is Royal Wootton Bassett, about 3 miles (4.8 km) away to the north east.
The Church of England parish church is called St Giles's and its registers survive for the following dates: Christenings 1653-1991, Marriages 1655-1999, Burials 1653-1992.[1]
Meadow Court, Tockenham, is an 18th-century country house designed by the potter-architect Nathaniel Ireson (1685–1769).[2]
A Roman villa at Tockenham was excavated by the Time Team in 1994.
A detailed parish history was published by the Wiltshire Victoria County History as part of its volume IX, Kingsbridge hundred (1970).
