Toba Samosir Regency is a regency in North Sumatra. Its seat is Balige. The regency covers an area of 3,124.40 square kilometres and according to the 2000 census it had a population of 304,015 .[1]
Orchid paradise
Two scientists have been exploring the Eden Park tourist forest in Sionggang village in Toba Samosir Regency for 4 years. They have successfully identified almost 200 new species of forest orchids. The area is an orchid paradise, which we can found thousands of other orchid species.[2]
Sigura-gura waterfall
Sigura-gura waterfall is the highest waterfall in Indonesia with 250 meters height, seats 250 kilometers from Medan or 2 to 3 hours drive. Below the waterfall, we can do White water rafting.[3]
