The Tirana derby I or the Big Derby are the names given to any football match contested between KF Tirana and Partizani Tirana football clubs, the two biggest rivals in the capital-city Tirana of Albania. Matches between these 2 teams have been going for many years and have almost always made the first page of the news by the numerous events produced, the high adrenaline either between fans in stands or the players in the pitch and the intriguing results. Since 2008, however, the fall of KF Partizani in inferior levels has unfortunately made this derby fade away and only return at the current season 2013-14. Partizani have an advantage of 13 wins historically, however KF Tirana dominates along last 25 seasons.[1]
