Tipperary Crystal
Tipperary Crystal is an Irish design company. It was founded by master craftsmen Joe Foley and John Meagher in 1988. They established a team of craft workers and designers.
The company was taken over by Declan Fearon in 2005.[1] Tipperary Crystal has recently seen growth in the Asian market and signed a licence deal with Neo Glory to grow the brand in China.
The full Tipperary Crystal range includes crystal and glassware, ceramics, textiles, scented candles and jewellery.
Each season some of Ireland’s best-known designers create collections for Tipperary Crystal. They craft new products and ranges which reflect their individual styles and contemporary design trends.
The Tipperary Crystal designers include:
- Artist Graham Knuttel Graham Knuttel
- Fashion designer Louise Kennedy
- TV chef Rachel Allen
- Restaurateur Patrick Guilbaud
- Professional golfer Christy O'Connor Snr
Tipperary Crystal acquired Duiske and Kilkenny Glass in 2009 to broaden its glassware range.[2]
