Timo Letschert (born 25 May 1993) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a centre back for Roda JC Kerkrade in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Career

Letschert began his career with FC Groningen and made his professional debut on 13 April 2013 in a 2–0 victory against Heracles Almelo.[1]

During a league game against Heerenveen on 15 September 2013, Letschert had a bizarre incident as the defender pretended to faint immediately after being sent off.[2]

On 30 January 2014, it was announced that Letschert and FC Groningen agreed to dissolve his contract as he could not accept his role as a reserve player.[3]One day later, Letschert signed with Roda JC Kerkrade until the end of the season, with an option for two more years.[4]
