Jason Michael Bosak Diakité[1] (born 11 January 1975 in Lund), known under the stage name Timbuktu, is a Swedish rapper and reggae artist. Earlier in the mid-1990s, he started as part of rap Excel before going solo as Timbuktu. He has won many awards.
Biography
In September 2008 he released the single, "Tack för kaffet" via the popular torrent site The Pirate Bay.[2]
He is the son of Madubuko Diakité, a US born Swedish human rights lawyer and academic.[1]
Timbukto has been hosting the music aid radio/television show Musikhjälpen during several years.
