Timberlea is a suburb of Upper Hutt, located in the lower North Island of New Zealand.
Timberlea is served by a commuter bus service (Route 111) from Upper Hutt Station. In 2012 the Greater Wellington Regional Council investigated extension of the electrification with Matangi trains north of Upper Hutt to a new station at Timberlea and north of Waikanae to Otaki. [1]
