William Timothy Cowlishaw (/ˈklɨʃɔː/; born March 31, 1955[1] in Dallas, Texas) is an American sportswriter for The Dallas Morning News, a regular panelist on the ESPN sports talk show Around the Horn and formerly the lead reporter for the ESPN2 racing show NASCAR Now.

Cowlishaw joined the Dallas Morning News in 1989.[2] While at the Morning News, he was a beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers. He has also covered Oklahoma Sooners football and the San Francisco Giants.

Cowlishaw attended the University of Texas at Austin. Cowlishaw has two children, Rachel (20) who attends the University of Missouri, and Ben (17) who attends Coppell High School.

Cowlishaw is a devoted Radiohead fan, and often references their lyrics on Around the Horn.
