Tim Ablitt

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tim Ablitt is the current leader of the English Defence League (EDL).[1][2] He was appointed Chairman in October 2013 after Tommy Robinson stood down.[3] Ablitt, of Poole, Dorset,[2] had previously been organiser of the South West England branch of the EDL. He was arrested in July 2010 over a suspected bomb plot on a Bournemouth mosque and released without charge.[2] Ablitt was involved in an unsuccessful bid to merge the EDL and the British Freedom Party.[4]
