2012-present: Candlelight, Candlelight II and What I'm Meant To Say

Tich first came to prominence in 2012, when she independently released her debut EP Candlelight, via Gravity Digital. In 2013 she signed a record deal with AATW, and began working on her debut album with a number of songwriters, including Nick Jonas.[2] Her debut single "Dumb" was released in May and reached No.23 on the UK Singles Chart.[3] In June, she unveiled the music video for her second single "Obsession", written by Tich, with Harry Sommerdahl (The Saturdays) and Ki Fitzgerald & Chris Young (The Wanted, Lawson), and it was also announced she would headline her first solo tour in October.[4] In August, she released covers of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness and Tom Odell's "Another Love" online.[5] In an interview with Digital Spy Tich revealed details about her upcoming new single: "The next single has got a lot more depth to it. It's not about love but another experience I went through. I think it's becoming a bit more autobiographical, which is what the whole album is."[6] Her second EP, Candlelight II was released on 6 December 2013.[7] On 6 January 2014, Tich announced her new single "Breath In Breath Out" will be released on March 23, and is co-written by Nick Jonas and Tim Powell.[8]
