Thyssen family

The Thyssen family^[1] has notable members, all of whom descend from Friedrich Thyssen, which established steel works, elevators and escalators, industrial conglomerates, banks, and art collections - Thyssen AG, ThyssenKrupp and ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems. Originating from Germany, family members have taken up residence in various countries.

• Isaak Lambert Thyssen, (c. 1685-1773), wed firstly before 1720 Johanna Wirtz (died c. 1728); wed secondly 1730 Anna Maria Charlier (died c. 1738); wed thirdly c. 1740 Mechtild Deutz (1701-?). He had issue:
