Thomas Tyrwhitt-Drake

Thomas Tyrwhitt-Drake (16 March 1783 – 23 March 1852) was a British Member of Parliament.
He was the eldest son of Thomas Drake Tyrwhitt and brother of William Tyrwhitt-Drake, MP. He was educated at Westminster School and Brasenose College, Oxford (1801) and succeeded his father in 1810.
He was a captain in the South Bucks Yeomanry in 1803. He was elected MP for Amersham in 1805, aitting until 1832, when the Amersham constituency was disenfranchised. The Tyrwhitt-Drake family lived at Shardeloes House, Amersham, He was appointed High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire for 1836–37.
He married Barbara Caroline, the daughter of Arthur Annesley of Bletchington Park, Oxfordshire, with whom he had 4 sons and 8 daughters.
