Thomas Monk

Sir Thomas Monk (1570 - 1627) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1626.
Monk was the son of Anthony Monk of Potheridge, Devon and was baptised at Ashwater Devon on 9 April 1570. He matriculated from King's College, Cambridge at Easter 1587 and was admitted at the Inner Temple in 1590. He was knighted. In 1626, he was elected Member of Parliament for Camelford.[1]
Monk died at the age of about 57.
