Thomas Mars (born November 21, 1976) is a French musician and the lead singer of the French alternative rock band Phoenix.
History
Thomas Mars was born in Versailles, France in 1976. In the early 1990s, Mars and his schoolfriend Chris Mazzalai formed the band Phoenix. Mazzalai's older brother, Laurent Brancowitz, also joined the band. The band has released five albums and won a Grammy Award.[1]
Personal life
In 2011, Thomas Mars married Sofia Coppola at Palazzo Margherita (Bernalda). They have had two children together, Romy Mars and Cosima Mars.[2]
