Thomas Baldwin (philosopher)

Thomas (Tom) R. Baldwin (born 1947) is a British philosopher and professor of philosophy at the University of York.[1]

He has been editor of Mind since 2005.

He has served as the president of the Aristotelian Society and as Deputy Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority. He is presently Chair of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics Working Party on Novel Neurotechnologies.[2]

He studied at Cambridge University, gaining an MA and a PhD.
