"This Whole World" is a song written by Brian Wilson for American rock band the Beach Boys, and was released on their 1970 album Sunflower. The song features Carl Wilson on lead vocals (with Brian singing the first line) and is credited as a Beach Boys production. Earlier in the year, it had been included on the Warner Brothers promotional sampler album The Big Ball, and as a single, backed with "Slip On Through", but did not make the US or UK pop charts. The song was recorded in November 1969 and is known for its numerous key changes.

Live versions
The Beach Boys performed the song in 1988 for the first time, however the song only lasted in the set for a few shows. Brian Wilson performed the song at most shows during his first solo tour, as well as several times since. The Beach Boys also performed the song a handful of times during the band's 50th Anniversary Tour with Brian Wilson on the lead.
