Thienopyridine

Thienopyridines are a class of ADP receptor/P2Y12 inhibitors used for their anti-platelet activity.

Examples

Drugs in this class are: Prasugrel (Effient),[1] Ticlopidine (Ticlid), Clopidogrel (Plavix), and Ticagrelor (Brilinta).
