Theron Otis Feemster,[1] commonly known as Theron Feemster or Ron Feemster (and also under the Nickname Neff-U), is an American music producer.
Life and career
Feemster was raised with much involvement in the music program of his parents' church, giving him the opportunity to learn and perform on numerous instruments, especially keyboards. He became the church music-director at age 7.[2]
Feemster briefly studied at the Berkelee College of Music in Massachusetts, where he produced the music that would become the basis for Will Smith’s Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head), released on the Men In Black II soundtrack. He was mentored by Dr. Dre[3] and worked extensively with Michael Jackson during the last years of Jackson's life. He has been involved with several Grammy winning songs. [citation needed]
