Theophilus "Theo" Danzy (born May 20, 1930) is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Prairie View A&M University (1972), Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (1977–1978), Miles College (1980–1982), Alcorn State University (1986–1990), and Stillman College (1999–2005), compiling a career college football record of 83–89–3. He is an alumnus of Tennessee State University.

Coaching career

Danzy was the 12th head college football coach for the Prairie View A&M University Panthers located in Prairie View, Texas and he held that position for the 1972 season. His career coaching record at Prairie View was 5 wins, 5 losses, and 0 ties. Danzy later was head coach at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and then went on to Alcorn State University.[1] After a hiatus, Danzy returned to the coaching ranks and serves as head football coach of Stillman College who re-established its football program and held the position from 1999 to 2005. Theophilus Danzy passed away on November 28, 2012.
