The Passing-Bells is a British drama television series that will first broadcast on BBC One. The series is set during World War I and is a part of the BBC First World War centenary season.[1] It will feature the Western Front, the Gallipoli Campaign, the Battle of the Somme, the Eastern Front, and the American Expeditionary Forces.[1] The drama will be written by Tony Jordan and will consist of five thirty-minute episodes.[1][2][3][4]

Production

The series was announced by the BBC on 16 October 2013, along with other programmes that will play a part in the BBC First World War centenary season.[1] It is a Red Planet Production.[1]
