The Hangmen are a punk rockabilly band from the North East of England. The Hangmen play punk/rockabilly music under the generic term of psychobilly. They are not to be confused with the Los Angeles, California based punk band[1][2] with the same name.

The band has released seven albums along with compilation appearances, singles, several DVDs and also an art movie cameo.

Live highlights include their movie-shot New York Rumble Festival appearance, performing at CBGB in New York City and the distinction of ‘Live-pick-of-the-week’ in the national music press during a Canadian tour.
