The Funkadactyls are a professional wrestling tag team in the WWE, consisting of Cameron and Naomi. Their tag team name was announced by the returning Brodus Clay when he debuted in WWE and the two Divas served as his back-up dancers and managers.[3]

In October 2011, after being eliminated from WWE's Tough Enough reality program, Cameron was sent to WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where she met Naomi and the two started teaming together. In their first match as a team, they defeated Caylee Turner and Kaitlyn on the October 23, 2011 episode of FCW. In 2012, FCW was rebranded and called NXT Wrestling.

On the January 9, 2012 episode of Raw, Cameron and Naomi managed the returning Brodus Clay to his match. The two continued to manage Clay to his matches on Raw, WWE Smackdown and some pay-per-views. The team made their Wrestlemania debut on WrestleMania XXVIII during a segment with Clay.[4] At the TLC pay-per-view on December 16, The Funkadactyls participated in their first televised WWE match, which was a "Santa's Little Helpers" battle royal, eventually won by Naomi.[5]
On the February 6, 2013 episode of WWE Main Event, The Funkadactyls got into a backstage altercation with Tamina Snuka and Aksana when the two began to persuade Brodus Clay to fire The Funkadactyls and hire them as his back-up dancers. This led to their first tag team match in which they came out victorious.[6] In March, The Bella Twins returned to the WWE and started a rivalry with The Funkadactyls by attacking them in a backstage segment on Smackdown. Week later on Raw, The Funkadactyls got some revenge and attacked The Bella Twins.[7][8][9][10] Their rivalry led to a match at Wrestlemania XXIX, where The Funkadactyls were scheduled to team with Clay and Tensai, and The Bella Twins with Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, however the match was canecelled due time issues.[11] Instead the match took place, the following night on Raw, where The Funkadactyls, Clay and Tensai were victorious.[12] In May, it was announced that both Cameron and Naomi will take part of the new Total Divas reality series.[13] The Funkadactyls even made an appearance on the SummerSlam pay-per-view, managing fellow member of the Total Divas cast Natalya in her match against Brie Bella.[14][15] The cast of Total Divas then transitioned into a scripted feud with WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, who mocked the show and cast.[16] This led to a match for the WWE Divas Championship where Cameron managed Naomi at the Night of Champions pay-per-view to face Lee, Natalya and Brie Bella, however Lee was able to retain her championship.[17][18] Following that match, the rivalry between Lee and the Total Divas cast led to a traditional survivor series elimination tag-team match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view and following night on Raw, where The Funkadactyls defeated Lee, Alicia Fox, Aksana, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka and Summer Rae[19][20]
On December 15 at the TLC pay-per-view, The Funkadactyls and Tensai, abandoned Brodus Clay because of his attitude, effectively disbanding Tons of Funk and their alliance with him.[21] The following night on an episode of Raw, Cameron and Naomi aligned themselves with R-Truth and Xavier Woods and started managing them to their matches.[22] In January 2014, Naomi received push, facing Divas Champion AJ Lee in various tag team matches, and eventually pinning her on both Raw and SmackDown.[23][24][25] On the February 3 episode of Raw, after Naomi defeated Aksana in a singles match, Alicia Fox tried to attack her but was stopped by Cameron.[26]
