Thai Lion Air (Thai:ไทยไลอ้อนแอร์) is a Thai low-cost airline.[1] It takes inaugural flight on December 4 2013 with the routes of Don Mueang International airport - Chiang Mai International Airport. It a joint venture between Indonesian based Lion Air and a Thai partner.[2] It will serve regularly scheduled domestic and international flights from Bangkok and other cities in Thailand. It plans to operate services out of Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport.[3] On 5 October 2013,the photo of their 1st aircraft was spotted at Boeing Field,Seattle.[4] The airlines started operating on 5 December 2013 with flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. Starting from 10 December 2013, Thai Lion Air and Malindo Air had an agreement so that people in Malaysia could booked tickets to Thailand.
