Tetraneuris, commonly known as bitterweed is a genus of flowering plants in the daisy family, consisting of 9 species native to North America.
The genus includes one annual, Tetraneuris linearifolia, with the remainder being perennials. Another species is Tetraneuris scaposa.
The name is of Greek origin, tetra, four and neuron, nerve, referring to the venation of the rays, which are three-lobed with the outer lobes themselves having an apparent vein down the middle.
